My Invicta 2876 II Collection Review
Overall, I think that the Invicta 2876 II Collection is a wonderful watch for the people who it was made for, that is to say men who don’t necessarily want a huge slab of metal on their wrist and who also don’t really fancy the idea of paying $100 – $200 for a watch. If that’s your goal with this watch, then the Invicta 2876 will be perfect for you!
A sleek design characterizes this piece from the II Collection. This chronograph watch is a little unusual in the Invicta line because the chonograph details the day of the week and the date and there’s no date window. Typically Invicta makes chronographs resettable so that they can work as a stop watch, then there’s an additional date window, but you know what? I actually kind of like it this way, especially for this watch, and here’s why:
Oftentimes when watch manufacturers try and make more advanced chronographs for lower end watches they end up being terrible…Inaccurate, non functional, whatever, they just don’t work. This watch, however, has a very simple chronograph that’s attractive AND does what it’s supposed to! What a shocker, I know…
Anyways, moving on. The rest of the watch is pretty standard…The stainless steel case is well polished and looks great. The metallic blue watch face fits well with the rest of the watch, as do the Arabic numeral indexes and luminescent hour and minute hands. Oh, did I mention that the watch also features a “sweeping second hand”? Yea, it does, but it’d not really a “sweeping second hand” it just kind of clicks along smoothly. Maybe it’ll be different for you, but just don’t buy the watch for that feature.
Anyways, Invicta made this watch for the average joe who doesn’t want a high dollar watch, or for the watch connosieur who would like a nice looking watch for day to day casual wear. On both accounts this watch will fit the bill nicely, and for the price you’ll be hard pressed to find something better. I’ll finish by quoting what I thought was a very helpful review on Amazon:
“It looks great, I get compliments on it all the time. I’d give it a 5 for looks, but so far, 3 on performance.”
My Verdict of the Invicta Men’s 2876 II Collection
And that’s really all there is to it. The Invicta 2876 II Collection chronograph watch is accurate enough and stylish enough to be worth buying but not so expensive that it’ll cost you an arm and a leg.
That pretty much sums up the way I feel about the Invicta 2876 II Collection. Anyways, thanks for reading through this whole review, I appreciate it. If you’d like some other ideas for watches you might like, I encourage you to check out more of my watch reviews!
