Invicta 4470 Pro Diver Automatic Watch Review

Invicta 9937OB Pro DiverThe Invicita 4470 Pro Diver is an upgrade to the Invicta 9937OB and Invicta 8926 Pro Divers. Get more info inside my pros and cons review!

Alright, so I’ve already done a pretty detailed review of this watch. Yup, I reviewed the Invicta 4469, which is the same watch with a black face instead of a silver-tone one. Other than that, totally identical. Just letting you know that you might want to check that one out.

This watch is currently unavailable on Amazon, but the 9937OB is a great alternative. The pros and cons and everything are still written for the 4470.

My Invicta 4469 Pro Diver Automatic Watch Review

As I said in the pros and cons list, the main thing keeping the Invicta 4470 Pro Diver from getting that much sought after 10/10 is that it runs a little bit fast. If you want an actual accurate time keeper, you’d be better served with either the Invicta 3044 Grand Diver (scroll down for review link):

Or better yet, the Invicta 9937OB which has a 25 jewel movement, but runs much better:

Now, other than being a bit fast, this is truly a spectacular watch. I mean, you saw the pros list… It went on forever! There are just so many bells and whistles going on with this thing, it’s unbelievable.

I think probably the most noticeable difference is in the band…The stainless steel strap is MUCH thicker than the bands of the 9937OB and 8926…A noticeable higher quality. Very durable feeling, and they just are smoother on your wrist. The case is extra deep, just like the Grand Diver, but it’s not quite as wide. The outer bezel is unidirectional and black. The dial is silver-tone mother of pearl, so you get the extra durable material with that distinct mother of pearl look. It’s actually very attractive, and I think that the simple design is appropriate.

Another feature is that the watch’s window is made of nice and thick sapphire crystal. Now, sapphire crystal is SUPER scratch resistant. In fact, it’s only scratch-able by diamonds, so that’s kind of hard to beat. It’ll hold it’s shine forever, pretty much. There’s an extra thick magnification window over the 3 o’clock position at the date window so that it’s even easier to read.

My Verdict of the Invicta 4470 Pro Diver

All in all, everything about the Invicta 4470 Pro Diver is great…Everything except how well it keeps time. If you don’t really need something super accurate, then hey, the Invicta 4470 is probably great for you. It’s a beautiful watch. However, if you want something that’s a little bit more accurate you’d be better served with the Invicta 9937OB. Okey Dokey? Thanks for reading through my review! I really appreciate it, and I hope it’s helped you!
